Everything starts with the mind. Our mind is the command center which governs our thoughts, our actions and our reality. Many of us have suffered some type of trauma and are unaware of the effects it has on our everyday lives. Even after acknowledging such and coming to the decision to seek assistance, unfortunately, some of us don't have the resources, tools and or support to heal in the most effective way. We're told to seek therapy and even through that we can find ourselves being prescribed pharmaceuticals to take over long periods of time. This can have an adverse effect on our physical, spiritual and mental being. this creates a vicious cycle where someone is already faced with current or pre-existing conditions, while adding even more complications along the way. Making it even more challenging in getting to the root of any issues. Nonetheless, some are afraid to seek guidance outside of self in fear of being judged or possibly even feelings of shame. This can cause someone to become reluctant to share their story with anyone.

And yes, even with our loved ones. There are those who believe it should be easier to open up and share with those that are closest to us. Assuming that by default, they already know everything about us. One thing I believe we can all agree on is that this is not everyone's truth. Some feel that if they do share with family or friends, it is a burden. This can eventually lead to the individual attempting to figure it out on their own. A vast majority of us are usually aware of times when we're in need for help but am standing in the need of guidance on how and where to begin. We will find ourselves contemplating, asking....how did we end up in such unexpected circumstances. We must acknowledge that after experiencing any type of trauma, depending on the impact of even just one experience, it can be the leading cause of frequent moments of anxiety, worry, fear and disarray. Many low vibrational thoughts, feeling and emotions come into play. This subsequently leads to PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia and depression. Depression being the most common amongst all of these dis-eases of the mind. Being proactive in self preservation will limit the chances of being defeated. Too often it happens to be the leading cause of, if not any and everyone's demise. We overlook the signs warranting the decline. Eventually left questioning "Why do I feel this way? Or "How do I respond to this situation?" There are challenges that can be traced back to our ancestors which in other words would be called generational curses. Passed down the ancestral line like a Thanksgiving feast. Or might I say like a Thanksgiving tradition. Fortunately, this is where that cycle can end. We don't have to continue to go at it alone. Today can be the day that you finally embark on that journey to obtain inner peace. Learn to become more self-aware, while freeing yourself, freeing your lineage and sustaining real wealth by putting an expiration date on what's holding you back or creating stagnancy in your life. Everything begins witht the mind!
